This tour takes one from one of the prettiest lush green Himalayan valleys to the cold, barren high - altitude deserts of the Higher Himalayas. From beautiful Sangla in Kinnaur to stark Spiti, steeped in Buddhism since more than a thousand years. The trek to Chandra Tal, The Lake of the Moon, along the barren splendour of the Kunzum range, is a memory to cherish for a lifetime.

| Day 01 | Shimla to Sangla (2680 mts.), we drive through the famous and historic Hindustan - Tibet road, reputed to be the highest in the world. O/N stay in a luxury camp situated amidst pristine surroundings in the exotic Sangla Valey.

| Day 02 | From Sangla we drive to Tabo (3050 mts.) Tabo houses one of the most important Buddhist Monastries, which celebrated a thousand years of its founding in 1996.

| Day 03 | A visit to the Monastry in the early morning. After breakfast, we leave for Kaza. On the way a little detour to the Dhankar Monastery (3890 mts.). O/N stay at Kaza.

| Day 04 | We leave for Kaza next morning to visit the Key Monastry (4116 mts.) which is another beautiful and old Buddhist Monastery. It should be remembered that this area was once part of Tibet and as such the Monastries are very different and unusual character and architecture since the Tibetans made them. After Kye, we drive to Kunzum - La (4551 mts.), the pass separating Lahaul and Spiti. Spend the night at Losar, at the bottom of the pass.

| Da 05 | We leave Losar early morning for the Kuzum - La Top. From there we trek to Chandra-Tal (4270 mts.). O/N camp on the banks of the magical Chandrs-Tal Lake.

| Day 06 | We retrace our steps to Kunzum. From there we drive down to Rangreek.

| Day 07 | We drive to from Rangreek and then to Nako Lake which is situated at a height of 3600 mts. right along the Tibet Border. Naka has special historical importance as Guru Padamasambhave's footprint is preserved on a stone. O/N stay at Nako.

| Day 08 | From Nako the spectacular drive to Sangla is repeated. We arrive at Sangla in the evening for dinner and relaxation in the camp.

| Day 09 | After a relaxed breakfast, we drive back to Shimla to end nine memorable days.
