The new alignment of the Hindustan-Tibet Road is along the Sutlej River. This road can truly be called an engineering marvel seeing the terrain it passes through. Rudyard Kipling has also immortalized this road in his novel 'Kim'. Today one can drive to Central Asia (Spiti district in Himachal Pradesh) over this last of great adventure drives. The drive starts at Chandigarh and goes to Sangla, our base camp, a two-day drive.

| Day 01 | Chandigarh-Narkanda. We start from Chandigarh in the morning and passing through Shimla reach Narkanda. O/N stay at Narkanda.

| Day 02 | Narkanda-Sarahan. This capital of the Rajas of Bushair is famous for its Bhimkali Temple. Visit to the 800-year-old temple and O/N stay at Sarahan.

| Day 03 | Sarahan-Sangla. The days drive ends at a luxury camp in the Sangla valley. This majestic Kinner Kailash peak looms over this lush green valley. O/N stay at the camp.

| Day 04 | Day of rest and leisure in the Sangla Valley.

| Day 06 | Sangla-Akpa. We drive from Sangla and go up to Kalpa and then drive to Akpa.

| Day 07 | Akpa-Nako. A breath taking view with the lake at a height of 3600 metres. O/N stay at Nako.

| Day 08 | Nako-Tabo. After a morning walk around Nako village, we proceed to Tabo, and visit the 1000 years old Monastery also known as the Ajanta of Himalayas. O/N stay at Nako.

| Day 09 | Tabo-Kasa. The journey to Kaza starts with a visit to the Dhankar Gompa along the way. O/N stay at Kaza.

| Day 10 | : Day of sight seeing in Kaza. Visit to the Kye Monastery.

| Day 11 | : Kaza-Sangla. Return journey starts from Kaza and we come back to Sangla. O/N stay at snowline camp.
